KIDS STORYBOOK COSTUME CARNIVAL
This FREE event for parents and their children is at the Boys & Girls Club on Saturday, January 7th from 10am - 2pm. The activities will be geared towards children between the ages of 0-12 years of age, but everyone is welcome! This year's theme is "Storybook Characters." Attendees are encouraged to dress up for the costume contest! The event will include activity booths, face painting by Anna the Clown, bounce houses, giveaway raffle, FREE children's books, parenting resource information and a hot dog stand. COOKING WITH KIDS – EASY DINNERS
Come learn some dinners that are easy enough for kids to prepare. Children must be at least 5 years old and accompanied by an adult for this hands-on class. This FREE class is held at OHMS, 128 SW I Street, on January 14th from 10am-Noon. Please bring a donation of non-perishable food for the community food bank. Call 471-4208 for more information.

FREE WORKSHOP - DEALING WITH DEBT
In a 'buy now, pay later' world, many of us have gotten in over our heads with debt. When that happens, what do you do and what are your rights? What can collectors legally do? Is bankruptcy your only option? Come learn how to deal with your debt, before it deals with you. This FREE workshop is being presented by the Coalition for Kids "Money $marts" program at the YMCA on Wednesday, January 18th from 6:30 - 8:00pm. Call 541-479-1929 for more information.

SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE AT REDWOOD CAMPUS
Enrollment is open for the winter term at our child care center on the RCC campus in Grants Pass. Scholarships are available for families who qualify as long as funds are available. Pre-school openings, for kids ages 2 ½ to 5 years old, are also available in our child care center on the corner of 8th and M Streets.
