LABOR DAY FESTIVAL & PARADE
The Illinois Valley Lions Club is hosting their FREE annual Labor Day Festival September 4th – 6th at Jubilee Park in Cave Junction. Fun activities all day from 10am – 7pm include: Tuff Truck races, games for kids, talent shows for all ages, baseball tournament, antique equipment and custom car show, model airplane air-show, and great music nightly. The parade is from 10am to Noon on Monday and at 6pm that evening there will be a drawing for a Harley motorcycle. It’s fun for the whole family. Call 541-597-4486 for more information.

GOLDEN DAYS – A TOUR IN TIME
Step back in time on September 11th from 10am to 6pm and visit the historic town of Golden. There will be vendors specializing in historic and period crafts, food, music, etc. Married couples can renew their wedding vows at the Golden Church. There will be historical reenactments ranging from mid 1800 to the early 1900's and lots of treats and activities for the youngsters. Golden is just 27 miles north of Grants Pass. Take Exit 76 off I-5 and immediately after exiting the freeway, turn right onto Coyote Creek Road. Travel 3 1/2 miles up Coyote Creek. The town of Golden will be on you left and easily recognized. BOYS DAY OUT
Adults, bring your boys out to the Josephine County Sportsman Park for a FREE, fun, interactive and instructional opportunity to connect with each other. This is a special annual event for boys 10 - 14 years old and a parent/adult. Free T shirt and BBQ. For more information call 541-474-5234.

COOKING WITH KIDS – BREAKFAST FUN
Cooking with kids is a great way to spend time with them, and breakfast is the most important meal of the day. This class will offer fun ideas for making healthy, delicious meals that are easy enough for kids to prepare. Children must be at least 5 years old and accompanied by an adult for this hands-on class. This FREE class is held at OHMS, 128 SW I Street, on September 25th from 9:30-10:30am or 11:00am-Noon.

COALITION FOR KIDS CHILD CARE
