About Us

Coalition for Kids, Inc. was founded in 1991 by a group of community leaders who believed that we strengthen our community when we invest in children and families.

Our programs include:

• The Family Resource Center - a 25,000 sq. ft. "one-stop-shop," that is home to seven non-profit agencies.

• Coalition for Kids Child Care - providing a safe, nurturing learning environment for low-income families with an emphasis on having children "ready to learn" when they enter kindergarten. Learn more about Coalition for Kids Childcare on our Services page.

Coalition for Kids greatest strength lies in its ability to build partnerships. The agency believes in collaboration and acts as a catalyst in the community, partnering with other agencies to direct (or re-direct) resources to address the needs of families in Josephine County.
